Guest access

Information on how to access the “polimi” Wi-Fi network using an event code or temporary credentials

Access with Event Code (Self-Service)

  1. Connect to the “polimi” Wi-Fi network.
  2. You will be redirected to the Captive portal
  3. Go to Guest Access and Conferences.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number (Italian SIM only) and the Event Code provided by the event manager.
  5. You will receive an SMS containing your UserID and Password.
  6. Use these credentials to access the network.

This service is only available for Italian SIM cards. The provided phone number will be automatically registered and used for user identification and traceability. (More formal and explains the reason for registration)

Access with temporary credentials

  1. Connect to the “polimi” Wi-Fi network.
  2. You will be redirected to the Captive portal
  3. Select “Guest Access and Conferences.”
  4. Log in using the credentials provided by the event manager.
