Before starting: Polimi credentials

Make sure your Polimi credentials (person code and password) are in order. check the status of your password, or set a new one, via the authentication widget available in the Online Services.

If you had previously configured the Polimi networks we recommend that you “forget” them before proceeding with a new configuration

STEP 1/1

Network parameters

To configure both networks, “eduroam” and “polimi-protected”, repeat this part.

Access available networks on your device:

Select the network you want to configure: “polimi-protected” or “eduroam”.
Depending on the options available, choose “Modify Network” or “Connect”.

Set these parameters:

Metodo EAP: TTLS
Phase 2 authentication: PAP
CA certificate: “Use system certificates” or “Not specified”
Domain: wifi.polimi.it (if present)
Identity: PersonCode@polimi.it (eg. 12345678@polimi.it)
Anonymous identity: anonymous@polimi.it
– Password: the one related to the Person Code

Then click on Save and then on Connect.

To know

The password linked to the Person Code expires periodically and must be updated.
Upon expiration, the connection will stop working until you enter your credentials again.

You can check the status of your password by connecting to the Online Services and consulting the authentication widget.
