Before you begin

Complete these checks before starting the configuration

Have you already configured this device with the Polimi networks? Remove them

Ff you had previously configured the Polimi networks we recommend that you “forget” them before proceeding with a new configuration

Keep your Polimi credentials handy

Make sure you have your Polimi credentials (person code and password) in order. You can check the status of your password or set a new one using the authentication widget available in the Online Services.

Network parameters

Access available networks on your device:

Select the network you want to configure: “polimi-protected” or “eduroam”.
Depending on the options available, choose “Modify Network” or “Connect”.

Set these parameters:

Metodo EAP: TTLS
Phase 2 authentication: PAP
CA certificate: “Use system certificates” or “Not specified”
Domain: wifi.polimi.it (if present)
Identity: PersonCode@polimi.it (eg. 12345678@polimi.it)
Anonymous identity: anonymous@polimi.it
– Password: the one related to the Person Code

Then click on Save and then on Connect.

You have completed the configuration of your first Wi-Fi network

Repeat from step 1/1 to configure the second Wi-Fi network as well.
The password linked to the Person Code expires periodically and must be updated.
Upon expiration, the connection will stop working until you enter your credentials again.

You can check the status of your password by connecting to the Online Services and consulting the authentication widget.
