Accredited suppliers

- Department suppliers can use the department’s general portal address.
Download and install the GlobalProtect VPN Client
Windows and Mac OS X
We recommend that you use the default browser, as this will prevent you from having to authenticate multiple times in the upcoming configuration steps.
- Open a browser page.
- Paste the portal address into the browser’s address bar, then submit to open the page.
- You will be presented with the university’s authentication page: log in as usual.
- You will be redirected to the Palo Alto page: download the client according to your operating system.
- Install the client.
Mobile
Go to your app store (iOS App Store, Google Play Store, etc.) and download GlobalProtect by Palo Alto.

VPN Connection
- Open the client
- Enter the Portal address
- Press Connect
- You might be prompted with the university’s authentication page: if that happens, log in as usual
- In the confirmation window, choose Open GlobalProtect. We recommend checking the ‘always allow…’ option.

You’ve finished the setup
- Each new VPN connection will involve two rapid sequence authentications (the first to the Portal and the second to the actual VPN Gateway). Two tabs will remain open in the browser, indicating successful authentication or, if applicable, an error in case of problems. If the connection is successful, you can close the two tabs.
